The Bistro Mug Press is made of stainless steel and fits into most mugs due to the Santoprene rim adapter. To use, add the appropriate amount of coarse ground coffee into the Bistro Mug Press; pour hot water over the ground coffee, filling the cup; set the lid in place with the plunger in the up position; wait 4-minutes and depress the plunger. The Bistro Mug Press comes with a small plastic microwave-proof beaker that can be used to hold the press after the brewing process. In addition, while the coffee brews in the mug, the beaker can be used to warm milk in the microwave. The Bistro Mug Press can also be used for brewing tea. All parts are dishwasher safe.
